Moominworld was included as one of the world’s top ten children’s theme parks by the travel section of the British Independent newspaper in 2005. Moominworld is at Naantali, near Turku, in the south-west of Finland. It opens daily from June 10 to August 20, 2006.

Reserve enough time to see the plays at Theatre Emma, the island’s forest paths and all Moominworld’s inhabitants, it is advisable to arrive early, and you could stay even two days. In summer Moominworld is open from 10am to 6pm.

Moominworld is much more than the blue Moominhouse and its inhabitants. Study the map of the island and check out current events and their schedules in the Moomin Valley Times. This helps you find your way around the island and make the most of your Moomin day. Remember to take the right gear. The busiest time… ...at Moominworld is in July, when there are great many visitors! June and August are quieter months for a visit. Moominworld is open daily 10.6 – 20.8.
